Sam Gide

FOUNDER | CEO

An Austin resident and founder of Canaan Modern Homes in 2015, Sam is experienced and adept at complex projects in both general construction and infrastructure. Sam is a Civil Engineer from Asmara, Africa and has 18 years in the industry. He focuses on the future and modern luxury with state of the art and upscale finishes, quality workmanship, energy efficiency, and maximizing outdoor spaces while maintaining privacy. All his homes hail of architectural design intent, elements at the intersection of life & leisure, and maintains his homes are a very smart investment wherever he builds. While focusing on customized modern single family dwellings, Sam builds on an open layout concept to allow for a complete indoor/outdoor lifestyle experience. As Managing Director and founder of CMH, Sam has experience and a thorough understanding of commercial, residential and heavy civil construction. He is responsible for development, management and coordination of operations for all CMH projects while administrating multiple project schedules and phasing. He also maintains construction sequencing as well as start/completion target dates and overseeing all tradesmen activities, document control, project quality control and safety.

Ravi Reddy

Ravi has had a passion for construction since college. His early career began as an assistant project engineer for the Rehabilitation of Hudson St in the summer of 1993 when he was still in college. After graduating, he started as a project engineer for the $40 million Union Square Subway Station Rehabilitation. He was then given the opportunity to spearhead highly visible projects such as the $65 million Grand Central Subway Station, the West Chester County Courthouse Rehabilitation, and Baruch College at 55 Lexington Avenue. Always seeking to grow his experience, Ravi shifted gears to run corporate interior fit-outs for Alliance Capital, Oppenheimer Capital, Blank Rome, Accenture, LVMH, Avon, Maquarie Holdings, Cushman Wakefield, SL Green, Newmark Reality, and many other investment/law, building owner and retail firms. Ravi’s diverse experience enabled him to successfully build projects including 100,000SF+ buildings in both the corporate and luxury residential arenas and high-end retail. This has allowed him to work with a wide range of entities. Clients have included: WL Ross, US Secret Service, Internal Revenue Service, GSA, NYC Transit, Met Life, Jacobs Engineering, CNN, Turner Broadcasting, Wachovia Bank, Elie Tehari, Samaritan Daytop Village, Metropolitan Lighthouse Charter School, NYC DDC, and the Jacob Javitz Center Extension. In addition to running operations at Canaan Modern, Ravi is heavily involved in many non-profit organizations and philanthropic endeavors: He is a Managing Director of Privilege to Serve (P2Serve), which builds schools in 4th world nations; a board member of McCloud Cares, which serves underprivileged children in the NY/NJ area; an Ambassador for The Miracle Foundation— which operates orphanages in India—and a Trustee for the Board of The Haverford School; a prep school for boys in the suburbs of Philadelphia, from which he graduated. Ravi holds a BS in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, a MS in Civil Engineering from Polytechnic/NYU University, and a Certificate in Construction from NYU.

Brian Boles

DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION

Brian has over 20 years of construction management experience as well as experience running his own business designing and fabricating fine furniture and interior spaces. His management style focuses on team building, communication, thorough planning and attention to detail. Brian began his project management career in the Northeast specializing in institutional construction, building churches, synagogues, higher education projects, and restaurants. He then started Boles Studio a custom design and fabrication company, with clients including Etsy, Sony, and Homepolish. Most recently Brian has been working in New York City doing mid-rise construction buildings as well as working in the high-end residential market. Brian works very closely with our clients, field team and home designers to execute a unified vision of each project.

Brandy Goldman has a diverse background in graphic design, sales, marketing and account management. Her passion for modern design, strong people skills and diverse background has made her a great fit for a variety of roles at Canaan Modern. Her role at Canaan includes project assistant, contract administration, media and print design as well as serving as office manager for the Lakeway office.

CJ comes from executive sales and marketing background providing a competitive edge for buyers, sellers and investors. Previously serving the Orange County, CA market, CJ delivers an unparalleled experience through unique branding and marketing of properties. CJ started from the grass roots of growing an organic marketing and sales business in Las Vegas, NV growing from small entrepreneur to Enterprise level go to business for the entertainment industry. Later he joined a fortune 500 company to take unsuccessful real-estate sales regions to positive cash flow. He did this by unique complex co branding and partnerships with luxury brands. His experience took him through Las Vegas, Destin, Seattle and Orange County consisting of taking areas from $25M sales to $100M+. While doing this CJ consulted his own company flipping properties and Luxury new construction consisting of properties avg. of $3-$10M value. With two real estate licenses, one in Orange County, CA and one in Austin, TX he set out to create a Luxury client pool heavily connected between the two cities. In just a short time of entering the Austin market he has generated over $18M+ in buyers and sellers contracts for the 3rd and 4th Qtr of 2020. On a more personal note CJ has a beautiful family: his wife Rebecca, 4yr Old Kayden and two StaffordShire bull terriers.
